Designer | Clear Communication, Structured Thinking, Practical Outcomes

Hi, I’m Kat, a designer focused on clarity, structure, and applied problem-solving.

My work centers on making complex information understandable and usable. I bring together research, content development, and systems thinking to design frameworks, materials, and experiences that support clear decision-making and real-world application.

I hold a master’s degree in Innovation, which shapes how I approach ambiguity, constraints, and practical execution. I’m especially interested in work that values thoughtful structure, clear communication, and solutions that actually hold up outside of ideal conditions.

I’m preparing for an international move to Okinawa and curating a portfolio that reflects my strengths in systems-oriented design, information clarity, and adaptable problem-solving. I’m open to roles and collaborations where design is less about polish and more about making things work.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me lifting, running, biking, spending time outdoors with my family, or exploring how movement, learning, and design intersect in everyday life. ☀️

Dream Job?

My dream job would be one that helps make a difference in someone's life for the better. And by better, I mean their physical health or safety. I am passionate about fitness and I have witnessed it countless times how life-changing it can be. To have my career merge with fitness and design would be a dream come true. If it's not possible with fitness, I would love for my passion for design to help support the military from the civilian sector. Helping support the military in an aspect that keeps our country safe from the darkness that is in the world. Making a difference in those two specific fields would put me on cloud nine.
